Texas’ premiere UCI CX race returns again in 2017!

Cyclocross racing returns to the home of Tough Cross and the 2012/13 Texas State Championships:

Last seen on the Texas racing calendar in 2013, the private ranch property has“stayed in the cycling family.” New owners Jim and Rhonda Hoyt invite you to the hill country to experience an all new cross-specific course: Mr. Jimmy’s Butter Cross.

We were given essentially a blank slate to let our imagination run wild and create all new smooth lines. The track will challenge racers with climbing, technical descents, off-camber sections, creek crossings and a little more from the minds of the Texas Cross Syndicate crew. Oh yeah, remember the seemingly endless Belgian stairs? Yep, they are still there and ready to spark some burn in your quads.

We didn’t forget your ever important support crew as we have a spot for them too. They will be able to view virtually the entire course from the top of the property while enjoying good food and drinks as they cheer and heckle your pain. Hup, hup buttercup ‘cause buttah makes it bettah.
